Ensure pallet is not damaged
Place forks under pallet ensuring that they are fully under the load
Raise forks and test load to ensure it is not too heavy to move.
Move the load by pulling the pump truck along behind.
Walk in the correct direction and along the correct route.
Ensure that the distance from the person in front is at least 1.7m (6ft) whilst moving. To avoid colliding with any other person in front.
In the event of having to stop because of area congestion allow the person in front to move off before starting again.
On arrival at the dropping off point, deposit the load and remove the pump truck.
